We have been invited to visit Uppincott Farm on Wednesday 8th July 6.30-8.30pm.
Uppincott is farmed by Nick and Janice Lee, James and Jonathan. This is a family farm with a mixed farming ethos including arable cropping and a Pedigree suckler herd of South Devon cattle. They also provide an agricultural contracting service to other farmers in the area.
On the visit we will hear a little of the farm’s history and see the diverse cropping and crop establishment methods that have been used for 20 years now, aimed to reduce soil erosion and build soil productivity. The combine harvester may well be working!
Beef cattle grazing and enjoy the beautiful views from the Raddon Hills across the Mid Devon area.
Places limited to 20.
