Would you like to help planting a ‘traditional’ Devon Hedge on an earth bank?
Andy Gray, regenerative farmer at Elston Farm, Copplestone, has invited us to come and plant another ‘wildlife’ hedge on his land. All welcome, new members welcome, to join the tree team for this! Bring boots, gloves and a flask – and whatever tools you can manage (spade, fork, secateurs, bucket, hammer) – and we’ll hope for weather like we had last year (picture above). Contact me if you’d like to come. We’ll be meeting at the quarry: I’ll provide directions, and we can hopefully set up lift-shares. (Young people under 16 to be accompanied by an adult.)
