I am delighted to say that after a considerable amount of sweat and head scratching, our new website is now live. It continues with the same domain name as before: sustainablecrediton.org.uk and our newsletters will continue to update you every month with what is going on.
I would especially like to thank all those supporters of Sustainable Crediton who have made this happen:
- Andy Chapman, who for the past few years has unbidden, maintained hosting and domain name registration for our ‘old’ website: thank you so much Andy;
- Lesley Thomas for leading on this project so diligently;
- Project leaders and event co-ordinators for providing content;
- Clare Bryden of Websites Ahoy! for her good humour and patience in taking us through the process to build the new site;
- Everyone else who has contributed their ideas to help bring the project to fruition.
My initial thoughts in writing this piece were that the newsletter might be looking a bit ‘experimental’, but actually I think it’s looking pretty good. I hope you agree! Thanks again due to Clare Bryden for helping me polish it over the past couple of days or so.
Lesley and I will be working over the coming weeks to further refine its appearance, so please bear with us. We are both learning ‘on the job’ and the software we are now using bears no relation to that which we have been used to hitherto.
Thanks for your patience,
John Craythorne, joint newsletter and website editor, with Lesley Thomas
