Crediton Repair Café is a community event where volunteer menders help fix people’s items for free and can teach repair skills – all washed down with tea and cake.

Key information:
- Location: Elephant on the Green, 14 St Lawrence Green, Crediton EX17 3LL
- Schedule: 10 am – 12 noon on the 4th Saturday of the month
- Services: Repairs for clothing (sewing), electronics (lamps, radios, etc), computers, and mechanical items (bikes, tools)
- Cost: Free, but donations are highly appreciated to cover costs
- Items Not Accepted: Items with high voltages (e.g., microwaves, old TVs), items with gas/petrol, electric blankets
Why It Matters
The initiative aims to combat “throwaway” culture, offering a friendly atmosphere for repairs with refreshments available.
