‘Boniface Trail’ group

We are a group of ‘activists’ dedicated to raising awareness of climate change through taking action to help mitigate its detrimental effects, improving the environment in and around Crediton for the benefit of all its inhabitants.

What We Do

CAT are currently working on four main areas of interest:

Housing & Transport’ is mainly concerned with ensuring that new developments in the area provide the quality and type of housing that the people of Crediton require and deserve, have the highest ‘green’ build standards and include the necessary green spaces for good health. We work closely with Crediton Town Council.

The ‘Art’ group are dedicated to raising awareness of climate and environmental issues through the employment of art in all its forms. Currently we are screening a series of films which highlight various aspects of climate change.

The ‘Boniface Trail’ group are promoting ‘active travel’ in and around the area at this time specifically focusing on the proposed walking and cycling trail from Crediton to Exeter.

In the light of possible food insecurity and the public’s general disconnect from the farming community the ‘Connection with Farmers’ group are working on ways to bridge this gap and bring people together and be more secure and locally focused food production.
