Sustainable Crediton Newsletter 177, March 2026

  • Editorial, March 2026

Spring is upon us and we are getting busy again. Take a look at our news items and calendar of events.

On 9 March we will be helping to plant a new hedge at Elston Farm. Come and get stuck in and enjoy lovely views across to Dartmoor.

On 14th March, jointly with Crediton Town Council, we are organising the latest Crediton Community Conversation to help shape the future of our town. Please come along. This is your opportunity to influence how our town develops in the years to come.

Our Annual General Meeting is taking place on the 10th April. Details in the calendar. It’s not just a box ticking exercise: we would love it if you were to come along and commit to becoming involved in the leadership of Sustainable Crediton: people who are new to us will be especially welcome – and we hope to have a literary interlude to the evening!

Finally – for now – our Clothes Swap event is in the calendar for 18 April: time to refresh your wardrobe in time for summer.

    Something for everyone, we hope.

Best wishes to all, John Craythorne and Lesley Thomas, joint newsletter editors
