A few WEN supporters have been interested in organising a WEN craft stall which would attend local craft and Christmas fairs. Some fairs get booked up very early so I thought it a good idea to prepare now, ready to launch in 2010. The idea is for WEN members to get crafty and creative and contribute to a WEN craft stall - with proceeds going 50:50 to the person who made the item and WEN. This way, no one goes out of pocket, WEN can raise some funds, local women gain confidence in their own skills and traditional arts and crafts are revived and practised. Anything from patchwork, woodwork, jewellery making, jamming - basketry, metalwork - whatever you enjoy doing.
