Our latest Give and Take week was held at the Methodist
church hall in Crediton, and ran for seven days from Sat
22nd to Sat 29th Oct (excluding Sun).
It was a resounding success with over 1150 visitors finding
treasures to take home with them. A large amount of clothing,
books, kids toys, bric a brac, cds and all sorts of other household
items passed in and out of the premises. Exercise equipment and a
very large dog bed were just some of the items brought in (and
taken out).
We are very grateful to all those who volunteered to help at the
event, and also to all those people who came to give or take or to
do both!
It was also great to have the cafe alongside the event,
with people enjoying homemade cakes and delicious soup. There were
also new (but recycled) greetings cards on sale.
The Waste Action Group will now be reviewing the event, and
deciding what to do next.
Our Give and Take "Shop" is popping up again! This time in the
