Insurance
for Repair Cafe
Covered by
Sustainable Crediton insurance, public liability etc, but ins
company recommend using 'experts' - people with qualifications and
experience. Could pay someone to do repairs, but would have to be
self sustaining.
Litter
picking

interested people have contacted Charles. Litter picking sessions
would be once a month for 2 hours and each person in the group
would take it in turns to chose an area in Crediton. Charles to set
up initially and thereafter the group to chose an organiser. Bob
volunteered to organise if no one forthcoming from
group.
Give and
Take Event
Dates
agreed with Methodist Church: 22nd October to 29th October, with
21st setting up from 4.pm. Not open 23rd Oct. Start planning end
Aug, early Sept. Call event Give or Take. Everyone to think about
skilled people for the repair cafe.
2) Food
Festival recycling
18th/19th
June. After meeting with Felicity and Jason and food festival
people, Jill reported that there will be a traders general waste
bin, and one for paper, card, tin and glass. Could give plastic
glasses to NT plastic recycling.

Jill to find out if plastic can be recycled

has recycling banners and equipment

ideas for a project? Trade waste- can this be recycled?
3) Working
with Morrisons
Esther
read out email about visit to Morrisons.
Action:
Paula to talk to contact at foodbank about taking 'best before'
food and to ask club at Cheriton Fitzpaine if they want the
food.

and Anne to be part of forum with Morrisons and Esther to contact
food group to ask them for 2 people and then to organise first
meeting with Morrisons.
4) Reuse
Stall at Farmers Market on 21 May
Action:
Esther to get table from Dee and Ashtons, to do signs for Polly's
goods, to make pots with runner beans,stationery. Bring plants,
photo display, leaflets, etc. Get stall equipment for donation
boxes, Sustaianble Crediton leaflets

Paula to bring 2 tables, patterns for bags, paper pot making
machine, plastic bottle cloches, plants in tins, seeds.To do
article for Courier this weekend. To bring copies of 'Reuse
in the garden'.

Anne to bring pasting table, tablecloth, plastic milk bottle scoop,
yoghurt pot labels, plastic bottle cloches.

Carolyn to bring paper, glue etc for decorating jam jars for tea
lights, decorated cds for bird scarers.

to let Esther have a tablecloth before 21st.

all to bring any jam jars they may have.

Charles to bring seed tray with carpet and tights for garden ties,
ash trees.
