The Waste Action Group will be assisting with the recycling at the Crediton Festival this summer. Volunteers who would like to assist for a couple of hours monitoring the collection points and encouraging people to use them correctly and efficiently would be very welcome.

Last time a lot of potentially recyclable waste got sent to landfill, so this year the Waste Action Group have committed to recycling as much of the waste as possible.

Volunteers are needed to help with this please. 

It takes place during the period of 13th June to 11th July and we need volunteers to help for a couple of hours at four major events. They are the Food Festival over the weekend of 13/14 June, QE Music Night on Saturday 20 June, the Big Gig on Friday 3 July, and the Finale Party on Saturday 11 July.  All these events are in the Town Square and are expected to attract large crowds.

It is simple and non messy and you will be able to choose your slot from those available.
