Congratulations to Charles Mossman for being runner-up in Recycle Devon's Community Group Recycling Hero awards. Charles has been responsible for organising our household waste plastic collections in Cheriton Fitzpaine for the past two years. Charles said upon receiving his award "I am delighted to have been a finalist in these annual awards that celebrate the success of recycling in Devon. I received my award for the work I do with our Waste Action Group collecting waste plastic in and around Crediton and keeping it out of landfill. At the ceremony it was wonderful to see all the different individuals and groups in Devon who do such good recycling work, very often for no personal reward other than the satisfaction of helping their community and the environment."
