A Waste Sculpture for Crediton?

26 February 2013

The Waste Action Group would like to create a Waste Sculpture in Crediton Town Square during the Crediton Festival which runs from June to mid July this year. Everyone we speak to thinks its a great idea so we want to make it a reality and get the public involved. Our plan is to build the sculpture at the Community Market on Saturday June 8th.

There is just one hiccup - we need 3 or 4 creative people to join Carolyn,  our artist in residence on the Waste Action co-ordinating group, to get some  ideas together and help make it happen. If YOU like the idea and want to see it become reality please join us. You do not need to be hugely artistic, just someone who enjoys making things and working with a bunch of children and young people and lots and lots of paint, glue and clean rubbish to make something fun and exciting.

Please get in touch with us NOW by contacting Carolyn as soon as possible.
