Following the success of the waste plastics collection at Peck & Strong in January the Waste Action Group have decided to continue a programme of regular collections for the rest of 2013.

Collections will take place on the following Saturdays: 

9th March, 4th May, 6th July, 7th September, 2nd November and 11th January 2014.

Collections will take place from 10am to 12.30pm in Peck & Strong's car park, just up the hill from the Lesiure Centre on Lords Meadow Industrial estate and next door but one to DIY store Eakers. See the website for a location map. Please pass these dates onto friends and neighbours.

Remember that any CLEAN household plastics can be accepted with the exception of plastic bags, crisp packets, pet food foils, cling film and anything made from polystyrene.

Also any unwanted CDs or DVDs can be brought along as a gentleman in Crediton uses them to make lovely suncatchers.

Our collection does not replace the Punchbowl recycling facilities on the outskirts of Crediton but is intended to compliment them, and to help those who find travelling to the Punchbowl difficult. Our collections aim to reduce the amount of plastic going to landfill. The Punchbowl is under new management and has a very friendly bunch of staff, who accept all plastics and a wide range of other recyclables too.
