Peninsular Waste Services, the North Tawton company which collects and recycles all the plastic waste from our waste plastic collections, has again been awarded the status of Gold Recycling Stars by the prestigious E2B umbrella organisation dedicated to the promotion of recycling and environmental issues.

This is the second consecutive award made to PWS for excellence in both the service given to its clients and for its continued commitment to the expansion of recycling facilities they offer. PWS's list of materials accepted for recycling now encompasses 51 different products.

PWS are committed to real recycling and work strictly within the current legislation of the "Waste Hierachy." This requires the waste is dealt with in the following order (1) avoid (2) re-use (3) recycle (4) recover. Landfill or incineration are the last resort.
