On a bright sunny 28th July Sustainable Crediton's Waste Action Group (WAG) ably supported by the 1st Crediton Boy Scouts organised another waste plastic collection day at the public recycling point in Morrison's car park.

Over the three hours of the collection 37 huge builders dumpy bags were filled by members of the public and taken away by our waste partner Peninsular Waste Services.

During the collection the WAG collected signatures for a petition to Morrisons to fund a permanent waste plastic collection facility in their car park. At the present time Morrisons are saying they do not have any budget to do this, but there is a huge demand from their customers.
