We would ask everyone using Morrisons Supermarket to be on the lookout for single use plastic bags being handed to customers without them having to ask for them at the checkouts, and also being left in piles on the checkouts by checkout operatives for customers to pick up.

If you see this happening please ask to speak to the checkout supervisor and bring it to his/her attention politely as neither action conforms to Morrisons policy on single use plastic bags which states they should be kept out of sight under the counter and only handed out when requested.
