Mid Devon District Council have now taken over our domestic recycling service. The collections remain as before. They have produced an excellent on-line recycling newsletter that clears up a lot of the cans and cannots of recycling in our area. ...

The Waste Action Group is on track again

After a very productive meeting in late October we are looking at a number of issues to see if they are viable to develop into fully fledged projects. Our aim as a group is to develop projects and ideas that will promote the 3R's locally: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. We will be announcing which projects are going forward shortly, after some preliminary investigation on the part of group members.

We were distressed to hear of the recent financial problems being experienced by Mid Devon Community Recycling. Unfortunately our planned collaboration with them has had to be put on hold, for the time being at least.
