Local residents are being urged to have their say on the
future of the Tarka Line rail services, to help with planning
the future development of the line. As well as current users
organisers are keen to hear from those who rarely if ever use the
train.
The survey is online, or paper copies are
available at the Crediton station tearooms or the library.
Since 2001 there has been an increase of users of more than 300
per cent, with near 50 per cent in the last five years. More
trains, more seats and improved coaches are planned over the next
three years, with improvements also to the timetable.
The survey will be available until 17 Feb.
