Following an enquiry by one of our members, we got the following reply from Paul Taylor.

As Chairman of the Boniface Trail Association, the charitable body which is overseeing the project, I can assure you that the working group continue to meet regularly, on average six weekly, and are pressing ahead to push the project forward.  We have admittedly been a little quiet in the news of late.  We are trying to finalise the first key legal agreement which hopefully will be completed soon.  Needless to say this is a very large scale project which we will not be able to achieve overnight, but rest assured the members and Trustees are working hard behind the scenes.  The comments that the A377 is extremely dangerous for cyclists, and that a path would be well used, are extremely well supported,
