The temptation to go 'the wrong way' down Belle Parade or to ride on the pavement should soon be a thing of the past, as Devon County Council has at last published a Proposal to create a contra-flow along part of the road, and a diversion through the park for the rest of the way. Explanatory posters are up along the route. 

Safety for cyclists from the east to the centre of the town, avoiding the A377, has been an aim of Transport Group for years. Do help things along by responding positively (just in case there are any objections!) by 8 April.
