The Boniface Trail is the name attached to the long awaited cycle / multi use route from Crediton to Exeter. Devon County Council has now published two route options on which it is carrying out a public consultation which is open from 1 October to 30 November.

The two routes are 1) A 'quiet lanes' option via Sweetham etc and 2) following as closely as possible the line of the A377. There are pros and cons to both proposals which you may want to consider but in any event, PLEASE respond to the consultation. My understanding is that consultation is to be carried out on-line or by mail only and that there is to be no face to face consultation in Crediton. So this is your one chance to have your say.
