Big Bike Revival: volunteers?

Sustainable Crediton in association with Graham's Recycle-ables* is considering applying for a grant from the The Big Bike Revival grants programme (Cycling UK) summer 2024 round. Grants of up to £3,500 are available to a range of not-for-profit and charitably inclined organisations in England for projects that support people returning to cycling, starting as complete beginners, and people who do not cycle regularly. Applications may be made at any time up to Tuesday 25th June 2024.

We are looking for volunteers who would accompany learner cyclists, either on a dedicated cycle path or around a fixed route local to Crediton. The commitment would be a couple of hours on a weekday evening or a Sunday morning, probably once a month. If you like cycling and would enjoy helping, please contact Graham Ley via the link on this page.

*Graham's Recycle-ables is a project run by Graham Ley to acquire unloved used bikes, renovate them and sell them on at bargain prices, with all proceeds being donated to Devon Air Ambulance Trust. There is no financial gain attached to this.
