You may have read recently in the Courier of much tree planting
going on at Elston, near Copplestone; also at Tedburn. Several
members of Sustainable Crediton helped in a personal capacity, and
in all over 50 people volunteered over the course of the week or so
that the planting took place. In total, over 5,000 trees were
planted.
The planting season is more or less over for this winter.
However now we know of so many people who are happy to be involved,
it would be great to identify some sites for next winter where we
could carry out further planting. So do you have some land you
would like planting up? Or do you know a landowner who would be
interested? Do get in touch if so.
