Described by Eddy Kay: First outing of the season. The previous first outing and follow-up both being abandoned due to rain. A silver light and dry, later in the day the sun peeked through. Lovely to see the guys. As usual for me too much chat, I was eager to make a start. It was not long before I was shedding layers, and sweat dripping down my nose. Refuelling I heard a buzzard, a jay and a robin's winter song. It was lovely to be out doors, in the sun in the fresh air, in a Devon wood. Arriving home I felt the effects, completely knackered!

We will continue to coppice in the woods at Moor Farm.
