This was the work party postponed from the previous week due to snowy weather. Despite a foreboding forecast and a drizzly start, the the rain held off and the sun almost came through on a couple of occasions. A select turn out, of four coppicers (Eddy, Pete, Alan and Charles) and two chain saws, tailing off to three with one saw after lunch. A goodly amount of hazel and holly was felled, snedded, hauled, cross cut to length and stacked. Bird song and the wood showing signs of coming into life, next week will be the last outing of the season.

We will continue to coppice in the woods at Moor Farm.
