Write up by Eddy Kay:
Chill with heavy cloud cover,
dead still. A good turn out, seven in number with three chainsaws.
Tackled a sizeable fallen oak bough, brought down by storm Eleanor at the top of the
valley side. Hazel stools were coppiced, brash was racked, poles
were cross cut, to something approximating standard length. A good
productive day in good company, outdoors. Arrived home aching and
pleasingly exhausted.

We will continue to coppice in the woods at Moor Farm.
