"Sharp frost, dead still with light cloud, wintery sun breaking through. A select group of four turned out. Soon warmed up clearing a woodland edge, butterfly glade. I was glad of a half day outing to ease my back into service. I pre-dosed with ibuprofen and paracetamol and took it fairly easy. I think I've got away with it, fingers crossed."
