We worked in the new coppice area for the morning session. Then
retired to the Three Little Pigs for a well earned Christmas
lunch.
We will continue to coppice in the woods at Moor Farm.

Five of us attended on a beautiful mild autumnal morning. We
continued as two groups on the new patch of woodland to the left of
the main track. John D and Charles did some hazel coppicing over
the stream resulting in some fine pieces of timber and a clear view

Frosty start, still, with a
clear blue sky. A good turn out of eight in number, four chainsaws
and four brash rack builders. We all enjoyed the cool fresh air and soon

Overcast, mild, dry and in the wood perfectly still. A good turn
out of three saws and three brash rack builders. A short day as the
farm track was being repaired, tarmac arriving at 3pm. A good if

of our Woodland and hedgerow Group, are about to release an album
called Shobrooke Moon. Proceeds from the sale of the album will go

This was the work party postponed from the previous week due to
snowy weather. Despite a foreboding forecast and a drizzly start,
the the rain held off and the sun almost came through on a couple
