I'm very pleased to say that the Woodland Management Group
re-commences work on its coppicing project on 23 September
We will be working again in a beautiful woodland near Morchard
Bishop. The group currently meets on alternate Mondays, commencing
on 23 September. Further details under Dates for Your Diary. We
spend most of our time coppicing hazel which opens up woodland
glades, creating a broader range of habitats which is beneficial to
wildlife such as butterflies.
We are always pleased to welcome new members to the Group. If
you are interested in joining us, get in touch with me via the link
on this page or come and have a chat at the Green Fair in the
Square on 28 September.
I'm aware that Monday dates aren't helpful to those who are
working and we are happy to look to accommodate by introducing some
Saturday dates, so don't be put off.
A big thank you to the Vere family for continuing to welcome us
to their farm.
