Could you be a local Tree Warden?

Sustainable Crediton is working with the Town Council and Mid Devon District Council to assist in the development of a Tree Warden network in the local area. This could include:

- appreciation of trees and their value for the environment;

- recording of trees of interest in the locality;

- encouragement of local interest in caring for trees;

- promotion of opportunities for tree planting;

- exploring further opportunities for tree promotion and protection.

Tree Wardens are appointed by their local Parish or Town Council and supported by the Tree Council which has a page here relating to Mid Devon.

To hear more about developments please email us at info@sustainablecrediton.org.uk. Please let us know where you live, i.e. Crediton or one of the surrounding parishes. We will  add your name and email to our list which will be passed on to Crediton Town Council who will contact you with further details. Or you may contact the Town Council directly by emailing reception@crediton.gov.uk

You can also register your interest and find out more by dropping into our tree event at the Sustainabubble, 8A North Street, on 18 January: see under Dates for your Diary
