The Transition Network is a growing movement of people across
the country, working together within the community to respond to
the combined threats of an impending reduction in the availability
of oil, and the effects of climate change. Does this have anything
to do with Christian faith? If so, what role can we play?
Programme 7pm. Reception, then two sessions with a break when a
Ploughman's Supper will be served. Cost £5 per person, payable in
advance.
Lead by Ruth Valerio. Ruth Valerio lives with her husband
and two young daughters in Chichester, where she is part of
Revelation Church. She runs A Rocha's Living Lightly project .
Concerned to "practise what she preaches", Ruth has an allotment,
keeps pigs with some friends, coordinates a food cooperative, and
is on the steering committee of Transition Chichester
