Great news from the Community Larder team: we now have a fridge,
which means we can now accept donations of chilled goods. This
greatly expands the range of food which will potentially be on
offer. We have also signed up with FareShare which will significantly increase
the volume of food going into the Larder.
Please note that in order to maintain food safety standards, we
can only accept donations of chilled goods from businesses and
organisations holding appropriate food safely standard
qualifications: so we cannot accept chilled goods from the general
public.
We're also having a big launch at 2pm on Friday 19th in the
library. All Sustainable Crediton supporters are very welcome to
attend: we would love to see you there to help celebrate our
success.
The mayor of Crediton, Liz Brooks-Hocking will formally
'open'the fridge, and Dee Ross will be speaking on behalf of on
behalf of Sustainable Crediton.
