Despite some challenging weather at times we have had some lovely days and evenings at the allotment. We have given the bottom section of our very large allotment back to the allotment association and what we have kept has been much more manageable. We've had lots of wonderful Charlotte potatoes, tomatoes, courgettes, lettuce and beans. We've even had a few cucumbers although they would really like more sun. We're starting to pot up strawberry runners to give away at the Big Green Fair on September 23^rd. The Allotment will also be part of the Green Trail.

Wednesday August 30^th  is the last week we will be going up to the allotment in the evening, but remember once you've been introduced to the allotment you can go up anytime.
