In 2015 we celebrate our seventh anniversary.
Crediton has history of good, locally produced
food and boasts a butcher, greengrocer, bakers,
delicatessens, wine shop, cafes, restaurants and other independent
outlets. In the locality are many food producers, some of whom
feature in the prize-winning Crediton Farmers' Market, held in the Town
Square on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
When Crediton celebrated its 1100th anniversary with a
wide-ranging festival in 2009, it was the perfect opportunity
to create the first Food Festival. Since then it has been run by a
group of local volunteers, food producers and community
organisations.
Details of the 2015 festival will appear on this website as stalls are booked and events
organised. Keep visiting for updates and put the weekend of 13 and
14 June 2015 in your diary.
