October Community Market

 to

Town Square, Market Street, Crediton GoogleMap

The Community Market is different to regular markets as it is aimed at providing a space for people of the town and surrounding areas to have space to sell their home grown or home-made produce and crafts. There are regular stall holders as well as those who just come along when they have items to sell, so it is always worth a visit as you will always find something different and interesting.

The final Community Market of this year is on 11th October on the Market Square, Crediton from 10 am until 1pm. If last year's market is anything to go by, there will also be a terrific selection of home grown vegetables, fruit, jams and chutneys so do come along and enjoy the fruits of the Autumn season.

Orchards Live will be offering apple displays, tastings and advice. Bring some of your apples with a bottle or two and they will press them to make your own juice.

Stallholders are welcome to come along providing they live in Crediton or the surrounding area. The cost of a stall is by donation and can be from a basket in size up to a gazebo. You will need to bring your own wet weather protection for yourself . If you would like more information about having stall contact 01363 866543 or e-mail info@creditonlocalproduce.co.uk.

A reminder to save your vegetable, flower, herb and shrub seeds for the Crediton Annual Seed Share to be held on February 21st 2015, where you will find a great selection of locally saved and heritage seeds. Look out for more details on our website or posters in the town nearer the time. For information on seed saving and free seeds visit the market on October 11th at the Sustainable Crediton Stall or visit the Sustainable Crediton website www.sustainablecrediton.org.uk/. You can bring your saved seeds along and share them with others and take away their seed for yourself. If you don't have seed, still come along and take some seeds, we hope you will save some seeds and bring them the next year. A selection of garden related stalls together with teas and homemade cakes will also be available.
