A small group interested in food and farming is working with a local farmer on a community farm project. We are researching this and working towards a public meeting on 23rd March. The form the farm would take has yet to be worked out, but we hope it will provide both:

• An opportunity to invest in a project that will supply a variety of local food directly [work not necessary, but open days, events and workshops available!] 

• An opportunity for those who wish to have food in part exchange for work [provided they have the necessary skills]

We are talking to the Low Carbon Exeter group about their farm project and hope to visit the Stroud farm which has been set up for a long time and is thriving and expanding.

At this stage we need to know who in CCA is interested in this project - this would not necessarily involve coming to meetings or any work on your part, but we do need to know there's support out there and potential participants once the project gets going.
