Our first Seasonal Supper was a great
success. It's much more fun cooking together than doing it on your
own. This is especially true for someone who doesn't really
like cooking - I'm almost converted!
The event was very well organised by Carol and Ruth who drew up

Easy jobs and resolutions - not necessary
to come to meetings [though we'd be very pleased to see new people
at these].
Resolve to:
- eat more seasonal and local food;
- grow some [more] food yourself;
- avoid processed foods - cook more from scratch;

We are delaying work on the Community Supported Agriculture
project until the Autumn, when people will be less busy growing
things!
Meanwhile we hope to spend some time talking to local food
producers and perhaps beginning a directory which would enable
people to order food direct and perhaps in advance. An additional
farmers' market and a showing of Rebecca Hoskin's film 'Farm for the
Future' are also being mooted. We are developing ideas all the
time and would welcome new people to help with particular
projects.

co-operation with our farmers.
