Our Community Larder Planning Group has made good progress.
We've developed plans to work in two partnerships - first with the
Library, where Sue Lee, the Supervisor, is enthusiastic, and
secondly with Andy Gray, who is generously offering us space to
display produce at his St Lawrence Green building. Members of the
group have started liaising with our local supermarkets, and with
independent shops to obtain produce; we've looked into aspects of
Food Hygiene and insurance, and we're at work on the task of
obtaining suitable display boxes. We hope to get things underway by
early March.
We are still in need of additional volunteers to help us, both
with collections & distribution, and with admin and
publicity.
