Norway
This pudding has 3 layers; apple puree, crisp sugary
breadcrumbs, and whipped cream.
Apple puree: gently cook 2 lbs (1Kg) peeled, cored, and sliced
apples with a squeeze of lemon juice, stirring frequently to
prevent them burning. Breadcrumb layer: add 4oz (100g) wholemeal
breadcrumbs to 1oz (25g) melted butter, and 2 oz (50g) caster sugar
in a frying pan and fry lightly until golden brown.
When cool, place the puree in a serving bowl, cover with the
cooled breadcrumbs and finish with a layer of whipped cream.
Decorate with grated chocolate!
