Free energy advice related training
available to frontline staff and volunteers from non-commercial
organisations. Attendees must regularly encounter those in or at
risk of fuel poverty - i.e. essentially those on a low income / in
a vulnerable situation and who are struggling to manage their
household bills.
This half-day course aims to help delegates understand the
causes and impacts of fuel poverty and fuel debt; regulations
affecting the energy efficiency of homes in the private rented
sector; and signposting paths for landlords and tenants to access
grants and assistance.
