A planning application ref 18/01800/MFUL has been submitted to Mid Devon District Council for the construction of an on-farm anaerobic digestion plant and associated infrastructure on farmland east of Lords Meadow Industrial Estate in Crediton. 

This scheme replaces an application two years ago which was withdrawn by the developer because of concerns over noise, smell and traffic. According to the developer this new scheme addresses those concerns.

The Energy Group will be assessing the application over the next couple of weeks and will be submitting comments on behalf of Sustainable Crediton. Readers are most welcome to add their own comments on the MDDC Planning Portal.
