We will be cutting stems and laying steeplers commencing at the footpath gate at the top of the field near where we had the demonstration event a year ago.

We will also be processing wood extracted from the hedge area into logs and kindling.

Seven of us attended the work party and worked from 10am to about 3pm when rain caused an early end to proceedings. Two people worked with chainsaws to clear surplus material from the hedge-line. 3 people worked laying the hedge, whilst two processed the timber into logs. Roughly half of the resulting log pile was taken away, leaving a big pile for those still "owed" wood from previous work parties.
