The Energy Action Day is to be the first major event of its type that CCA has mounted in Crediton and we want it to be a big success. We need some help to make it a great event and are appealing to YOU for assistance. You can
help in any of the following ways:

Prior to the day

• We need 6 volunteers to make cakes and biscuits for the refreshments on the day.
• We need one or two volunteers to create two food miles baskets - one basket of local produce and one of supermarket produce (costs re-imbursed and explanation of how to do this available)
• We need supplies of old curtains, sheets and duvet covers in reasonable to good condition to make
• reusable shopping bags in advance and on the day.

On the day itself we need people to help in the following ways:

• 2 people to help with parking
• 2 people to man the Crediton Climate Action table
• 1 person who likes worms to mind the wormery!
• 1 or 2 people to sell raffle tickets
• 2 or 3 people to help with food service and clearing
• 2 people to hand out flyers at the Farmers Market and direct people to the Boniface Centre
• 2 people to help with setting up the childrens poster display before the opening
• As many people as possible to help with tidying up/breaking down at the end

PLEASE PLEASE VOLUNTEER YOUR SERVICES IF YOU POSSIBLY CAN.

CCA IS A COMMUNITY BASED PROJECT AND THE SUCCESS OF THIS DAY IS DOWN TO ALL OF US
LENDING A HAND AND DOING WHAT WE CAN.
