Over the last 8 weeks, 2 local Sustainable Crediton members have
been part of a University of Exeter research project and climate
response leadership building project by Art & Energy CIC.
"EcoAnxiety, Art & Agency" brought regional artists and
activists together for a weekly programme, which will have one more
culminating event in July.
The programme explored both the emotional landscape of work in
response to the climate emergency and the impact of art-making on
wellbeing for practitioners, also strategies for engaging others in
behaviour change. Both of our local members also led the content of
the programme in dedicated sessions. Four participants were invited
to the local Nature Strategy Partnership conference.
We look forward to hearing more about the outcomes of this
project.
