New book about herbal medicine from trees and shrubs!

Visit The Bookery in Crediton to hear from expert herbal author Anne Stobart about her new book Trees and Shrubs That Heal (Permanent Publications, October 2023). From ginkgo leaves to hawthorn hips, there are many ways to help ourselves stay well with fruits, leaves and other plants which are around us. Anne's knowledge is invaluable for anyone interested in healing with plants and natural remedies. She is an experienced medical herbalist and has previously published books about the history of herbs and growing herbs. Anne and her partner transformed a redundant conifer plantation and developed a thriving medicinal woodland. In this new book Anne shares the learning from that project and includes many recipes for using parts of trees and shrubs.
