The Big Butterfly Count was launched in 2010 by the charity, Butterfly Conservation. The survey remains open until the end of August. It just takes 15 minutes on a sunny day, at any location in the UK which suites you. You can log your sitings directly on the Butterfly Conservation website, or download the app. It is simple to use and includes a handy identification chart. You can do as many counts as you like, from any location: fun for all the family!
