Small Islands to World: S.O.S.

Have you Heard of Avaaz, the international non-political organisation that lobbies Governments and Institutions for a fairer world for all? It is growing in its influence and has hundreds of thousands of supporters all over the world including Al Gore and many other prominent environmentalists. There is no membership fee, no being hassled, no subversive agenda, just a genuine desire to help those without political muscle and the backing of big money from industry.

Helen Tuffin a local CCA supporter would like to bring our attention to one of their most recent campaigns on behalf of the peoples of low lying island groups worldwide that are beginning to be engulfed by rising sea levels.

Once you have signed up to a campaign AVAAZ will email you with other campaigns but there is no need to support them all if you do not wish to.
