When world oil reserves begin to run down and demand
exceeds supply and the remaining reserves become more
difficult to extract, oil becomes more expensive.
We are at or very close to this Peak Oil point now.
The very fabric of our lives is based on cheap oil. A
shortage means that not only will fuel prices continue to
rise, but so will the price of food and the vast number of oil
based commodities we rely upon for day to day living.
It is essential we now begin to take a different path
before it is too late.
