What kind of economy will promote well-being, for all, in a fair
and sustainable way?
The way our economy is organized affects everyday life; food,
debt, taxes, energy prices, banks, public services - choices about
these involve values, and shouldn't be left to 'experts'. But
how can we speak in a simple and relevant way about these?
And get involved locally in building better systems?
This day is to share visions about alternatives and hear about
what's going on in Devon; to link organisers, practitioners,
campaigners and people who would like to know more, to learn from
each other, collaborate where possible and strengthen initiatives
that reduce inequality, create good livelihoods and well being in a
way that will last.
