Be inspired by artist Catherine West and the various gardens around the Significant Seams studio.Catherine West will introduce participants to a number of creative activities including direct printing from plants (flower pounding and steam bundle prints), sun printing and shadow drawing. A seasonal dye pot will also be on offer. We will each collect some specimens that appeal to us, and create from these, experimenting with techniques and creating new, meaningful materials: particularly personally meaningful fabrics for other projects.The workshop is limited to 5 attendees, to ensure everyone has personal and meaningful attention from Catherine, opportunity to connect with one another and we are comfortable in the workshop space available.
